Ensemble practice ended early yesterday, cuz of Pro-ed Consortium night. And Goh SJ is in Pro-ed, so we ended at 4:30pm. People were better today. Didn't piss me off again.. Haha. Playing Mendelssohn's Twelve String Symphonies. They're just etudes.. Whatever. Sight-readable. Planning for a concert in December at Esplanade Recital Studio. Lame. Lousy place.. And as if we'll be able to play like that. I mean, take a look at our orchestra. Some cant even play a 2-octave C-major scale in tune.. Gonna be in very deep shit for next year's SYF..

"Lunch-time Concert" at VCH today. For all those primary school kiddies. Went at 9 o'clock for a pre-concert rehearsal. As usual, Wong Ho Chong gave her corny speeches before the performances.. "..and this is a chair-low (cello). As you can see, it is too big for you to put on your chin, so you place them between your legs." Haha! Strings played Handel Overture, Vivaldi Four Violins, Brahms 5th Hungarian Dance and Tchaikovsky waltz from Sleeping Beauty. Pathetic performance. Counting wrongly, out of tune.. All the mistakes an orchestra can make, we managed to do it. Heck lah. Took bus back home. Slept almost all the way. Reached home, ate, practiced my violin, went for violin lesson. Then we went to eat with our relatives to celebrate my grandma's birthday. She's 86. Wanted to play pool with my bro, but parents didn't let.. Hmph. Haha. Came back. Gonna sleep. Sunday classes resume tmr.
